0.3 was always sunny and quiet. In 0.4 it rains, the wind lives with the forest, birds and geese are startled by the disc, the phone vibrates, and there is a new course. Putting now takes skill, and the menus fit in portrait.

  • Rain: drizzle and rain are visible, audible and soak the ground. Streaks of drops, distant showers, splashes on the ground and puddles on the paths.
  • Wet ground and disc: the disc slides farther and bounces less; a wet disc slips, grippy plastic less than hard plastic.
  • Uneven wind: the forest shelters near the ground, channels along the wind strengthen it, and you can see a gust in the grass before it reaches you.
  • Wind direction stays for the round: in 0.3 it was redrawn on every hole.
  • Weather choice before the round: Clear, Drizzle, Rainy or Surprise; the wind is drawn according to the weather. The same choices when creating a competition.

Throwing

In 0.3 every putt under 10 metres went in, and from 11 metres almost none did. Now the release varies slightly, mainly in distance.

  • Launch angle 45° and sideways ±45°: you can throw up a steep slope and past an obstacle (0.3: 24° and ±25°).
  • The disc no longer sinks into the ground in hollows and at the edges of rock.

Life, vibration and sound

  • Birds and squirrels are startled by the disc and the player; Kumpupuisto has geese, ducks and swans.
  • Vibration: artificial horizon steps, throw, chains and landing in the basket (Settings → Vibration).
  • Sound: rain, wings, a new chain sound and the thud at the bottom of the basket. The basket sound will be improved next with our own recordings (0.5).
